The short version 💜
Bloom is a personal planner, and your plans are personal. Without an account, everything you create stays only in your browser, on your device. If you create an account, we store your planner and a few account details securely so they can sync across your devices — visible only to you. We never sell your data or show you ads.
Who we are
Bloom Planner ("Bloom", "we", "us") is an independent product operated from India. This policy explains what information we handle when you use our website and planner at bloom-planner.vercel.app, and the choices you have.
What information we collect
- Nothing, until you choose to share it. You can use the planner fully without an account — no sign-up, no personal details.
- Planner content you create: tasks, habits, checklists, notes, moods, gratitude, journal entries, photos, vision-board items and reviews. Without an account this lives only on your device; with an account it's stored in our database so it can sync.
- Account details (only if you sign up): your name, mobile number, city, and email address, plus a password (which is stored securely hashed — we can never see it).
- Payment information (only if you subscribe): handled entirely by our payment processor. We receive a confirmation that a payment succeeded and your plan status — we never see or store your full card or bank details.
- AI feature content (only if you use it): if you use Bloom's optional AI features, the specific text you send is processed by our AI provider to generate a response for you. We don't use your private planner content to train anyone's AI models.
- Basic technical logs: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) to keep the service running securely. We don't use advertising or analytics trackers.
Why we use your information
- To provide the planner and sync it across your devices.
- To create and secure your account, and to sign you in.
- To process your subscription and manage your plan.
- To send essential account emails (sign-in, password reset, important service notices) — no marketing spam.
- To keep Bloom safe, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data — ever. We share information only with the trusted service providers that make Bloom work, and only as needed:
- Supabase — securely stores your account and synced planner data. Access is protected so each user can only ever reach their own data.
- Vercel — hosts the website and keeps standard security logs.
- Payment processor — handles subscription payments securely (we don't store card details).
- AI provider — processes only the text you choose to send to an AI feature.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
How we keep your data safe
Account data is stored in a secured database protected by row-level access rules so only you can reach your own information. Passwords are hashed. Connections use HTTPS encryption. No system is ever perfectly secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard steps to protect your information — and the less we collect, the less there is to protect.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and planner data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (or ask us to), we remove your synced data from our database. Data that only ever lived in your browser is gone the moment you clear it or delete your local copy.
Your choices & rights
- Use without an account — keep everything on your own device.
- Access & export — download all your data anytime with the 💾 Backup button in the planner.
- Correct — edit your profile and planner content whenever you like.
- Delete — clear local data anytime, or ask us to delete your account and cloud data.
To exercise any of these, reach us via the Help Desk.
Children
Bloom is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account with personal details, contact us and we'll remove it.
Cookies & local storage
Bloom uses your browser's local storage to save your planner on your device, and a secure sign-in token to keep you logged in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Changes to this policy
As Bloom grows, we may update this policy. If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you clearly on the website before they take effect.
